The BMC DIA (Direct Intake Airsystem), inspired by the operating principles of the top-of-the-range BMC CDA (Carbon Dynamic Airbox) intake box, guarantees an improvement in the performance of your vehicle's engine thanks to its special structure, which transports the intake air to the engine more significantly and more quickly than a traditional airbox. Your 'DIA 70-130' universal DIA kit contains: - The DIA air box (inlet diameter = 70mm) in polyurethane containing the air flow deflector and the washable and reusable filter element; - the mounting bracket ; - M6 screw with hole and washer; - a flexible aluminium tube carrying fresh air to the inside of the DIA box; - an inlet sleeve; - fixing clamps; - two reducers (70mm to 65mm and 70mm to 60mm) to allow installation in standard applications. This CDA BMC intake kit consists of a cylindrical 100% carbon fibre airbox containing a washable and regenerable filter. The kit also comes complete with mounting accessories and a flexible aluminium tube. The carbon compound has low thermal conductivity, providing effective insulation against engine heat: the fresh air is routed directly to the filter, thermally insulated inside the carbon airbox, then routed to the engine via an air flow deflector with minimal loss of power. The CDA filtration system is connected to a front air intake via a flexible aluminium tube. This BMC OTA Dynamic Air Intake Kit, designed for engines over 1600cc, with an air intake diameter of 85mm and includes a reducer of 70mm, is a complete solution for engine air aspiration and filtration. It mainly consists of an oval-shaped carbon fiber airbox containing a cylindrical air filter with a dynamic inlet. In contrast to the original airboxes that operate in a depression regime with reduced section tubes, the OTA box operates in a pressure regime, ensuring a constant and high airflow to the engine through the dynamic effect of air pressure.
Its innovative trumpet-shaped element, strategically located near the air outlet, promotes optimal transfer of the airflow to the engine by reducing turbulence.
